Brainware

Our office is over at A 9 Northern Park. We are in Flat No 4, which is in the Brahmapur area of Bansdroni, Kolkata. The pin code is 700070 if you're looking it up on a map. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels very much like a home. We’ve been here for a while and the people in the building are used to us coming and going. It’s not a big corporate building with security guards and glass walls. It’s just a regular flat where we’ve set up our computers and desks. We like being in this part of Kolkata because it’s a bit away from the extreme noise of the city center, though it’s still plenty busy. There are plenty of tea stalls nearby where we take our breaks. Sometimes we have to deal with the typical issues like power cuts or slow internet, but we manage to get things done. We don’t put on any airs here. We just work on what needs to be worked on. Most of our days are spent sitting at our desks and talking through whatever projects are on the table. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. We find that being in a residential area makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed. We know the local shops and the people who run them. It’s just a small local business trying to do a good job for our clients without making a big fuss about it. We’re just regular folks working here.
