We are based in Jaynagar Mazilpur, over in South 24 Paraganas. Our specific spot is in Raktakhapara, 8No Ward. Being a consultancy means we spend a lot of time with reports and checking on different environmental standards. It’s not always the most exciting work, but it’s what we know. We deal with a lot of paperwork and local regulations. The office is right here in the neighborhood, so we see the same faces every day. We aren't some huge international firm. It’s just us, working on projects that come our way from the surrounding areas in West Bengal. Some days we are out in the field taking notes, and other days we are stuck at the desks typing things up. It can get a bit humid here, but the office has a fan that works well enough. We try to be thorough because that’s what this kind of work requires. People come to us when they need to figure out the environmental side of their plans. We don’t have a flashy lobby or anything. It’s just a practical workspace with files everywhere. We’ve been at this for a while now and understand how the local system works. It's a niche field, but someone has to do it. We just keep our heads down and focus on the technical details. It takes time to get everything right, but we don't mind the slow pace of the paperwork.
