We run things from Block I, Flat 11 in the Budge Budge Integrated Housing Estate. Being in Kolkata 700137, especially in a housing estate, means we are surrounded by the sounds of everyday life. You can hear neighbors talking, kids playing outside, and the general hum of the West Bengal atmosphere. Flat 11 isn't a massive corporate suite; it’s a lived-in space that we’ve turned into our workspace. We have desks crammed into the rooms and wires running along the baseboards to keep everything powered up. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor tiles are a little worn down from years of us walking back and forth. We don’t have a fancy sign outside, just the number on the door of Block I. Most of our day is spent staring at screens or fixing small problems that pop up in our files. When it rains, which it does a lot here, the sound on the roof is so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard. We like the fact that it’s a real place in a real neighborhood. It keeps us grounded. There’s no pretense here, just a bunch of people working out of a flat in Budge Budge, making sure the daily tasks get finished on time.
