Our office is located at 193 C on Picnic Garden Road in Kolkata. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s quite a mix of old houses and new narrow lanes. It’s near the 700039 area. The road outside can get quite messy when it rains, which happens a lot here. We have a simple space inside with enough desks for the staff. We don't have a big lobby or a security guard at a desk. You just walk in and see us working. Kolkata has a certain way of doing things, and we stick to that. We drink a lot of tea from the local stalls and spend time talking about the work that needs to be done for the day. The building isn't brand new, but it’s sturdy and keeps the sun out. We have files piled up because there is always a lot of paperwork to go through. It can get a bit loud with the horns from the street, but we are used to it by now. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We are just a local office trying to stay organized. Most people who come here are from the neighborhood or nearby areas. It’s a long day usually, but we make sure the shutters are down by evening. It’s just a normal Kolkata workplace with no frills.
