Unique Public School

Unique Public School is out in Pugthala, right along the Gannaur Shahpur Road in Sonepat. If you are driving through this part of Haryana, you will see us surrounded by the fields and the open space that defines this area. It is a quiet spot compared to the big cities, but the road gets its fair share of tractors and trucks passing by. We started this school to serve the families living in the nearby villages and the outskirts of Sonepat. It is a simple building, nothing too flashy, but it serves its purpose for the local children. Most of our students come from farming backgrounds, so they are hardworking kids who know the value of a day's effort. We spend our time teaching them the basics and trying to help them get through their exams. The playground is just a patch of land where they play cricket or run around during the lunch hour. It gets quite dusty when the wind picks up across the plains, but nobody seems to mind much. Our staff mostly comes from the surrounding towns, so we are all very familiar with the local way of life. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, but we have enough to get the job done. Life here follows the seasons. When it is harvest time, the energy around the school changes a bit, but we keep the gates open and the lessons going every single day.
