Doon Senior Secondary School

Doon Senior Secondary School is located right at Iti Chowk in the Industrial Estate of Sonepat. It is not a very fancy place, but it has been here for a good while. The address is 131001 for anyone who needs to find us. Living and working in Sonepat means you get used to the dust and the noise from the industrial area, and our school is right in the middle of all that. The morning starts early here. You can see the kids arriving on their bicycles or being dropped off by their parents. Some of the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the classrooms are sturdy and the roof doesn't leak. We have a lot of benches that have been used by many students over the years. The teachers here are just regular people from the neighborhood. They come in, do their lessons, and go home to their families. We don't have any big slogans or missions written on the walls. It is just a school where children come to learn their subjects and pass their exams. Sometimes the traffic at Iti Chowk gets really backed up, especially in the afternoons when everyone is leaving the factories. That makes the school gates a bit crowded. We just try to keep things moving. There is a small area for playing, though it is mostly just dirt and some grass. It is a simple life at this school.
