Gyan Ganga Global School (G3School)

Our school is located on the Gohana Bypass, right where Purkhas Road and Sabzi Mandi Road meet in Sonepat. It is a busy intersection, especially in the mornings when the market is in full swing. You can hear the sounds of the town from the school gates. The building is fairly large and sits right there at 131001. We call it G3School for short sometimes. I spend a lot of my day walking between the different blocks. Sonepat can get really dusty, so we are always sweeping the hallways. We have a good amount of space here compared to the schools in the middle of the city. There is a lot of concrete and some patches of grass where the kids can stand during their breaks. I usually start my day with a quick walk around the perimeter to make sure everything looks okay. We have a lot of classrooms to look after, so there is always a desk to fix or a blackboard to clean. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we do. The sabzi mandi nearby means there is always something going on just down the road. We just focus on getting the kids through their lessons and making sure the buses leave on time in the afternoon. It is a straightforward way to run a school. We have been at this spot for a while and have become part of the daily landscape.
