Sarva Vikas Krishak Samooh Producercompany Limited

We are located in Puthi, which is in the Sonepat district. Rajesh and his father Jai Hind are the main ones at the center of Sarva Vikas Krishak Samooh Producercompany Limited. It is a long name for a group of local farmers, I know. We mostly work out of the house. It’s not like those big companies you see in the city. We have mud on our shoes and we talk about seeds over tea. Sonepat is changing fast but Puthi still feels like a proper village. We started this company because it was getting harder to manage everything alone. Now we handle things as a group. It’s not always smooth. The internet goes out sometimes when we are trying to do the filings and we have to wait. We don’t have a mission statement or any of that. We just want to make sure the work we do in the fields pays off. The house is always a bit noisy with people coming in to talk. We keep our records in some old ledgers. It is a very practical way of living. If you come looking for us, just ask anyone for Rajesh’s place. We are usually around somewhere near the village post office. It is just a bunch of us trying to do our best with what we have. Sometimes we just sit on the charpai and look at the clouds. It is just how it is here in Puthi.
