Sanik Morden School

We are located in Bhagat Sing Colony, which is just off the main Rohtak Road in Sonepat. Sanik Morden School is a familiar place for the families who live in this specific neighborhood. The address is 638/25, and it is a regular-looking building on a quiet street. We don't have a massive gate or any bright, flashing signs to mark the entrance. Inside, it is just rows of classrooms filled with wooden benches and old blackboards. Many of the teachers have been working here for a decade or more, so they know the neighborhood and the parents very well. It is not one of those corporate schools with a board of directors; it is just a small group of us trying to run a decent place for children to get their education. The floors are a little worn down in the center of the hallways from all the students walking back and forth over the years. We have a small open space for physical education and games, but it is nothing like a proper stadium or sports field. When it rains heavily, the road outside tends to get quite muddy, so we spend a lot of our time mopping the floors to keep the mud out of the classrooms. It is a simple, hardworking life here, and we just focus on the kids and their daily schoolwork. There is always something that needs fixing, like a wobbly desk or a window that won't shut right.
