Our place is on Uplai Road in Barshi, right in the heart of Solapur district. It’s not a very big academy, just a couple of rooms where we hold our sessions. We’ve been here for several years now and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. The street outside is always active, so there’s a lot of life around us. We have a simple routine where we open up around eight in the morning and stay until late evening. My desk is usually covered in notebooks and tea cups. We don't have a website or anything like that; people usually find us just by walking past or hearing from a friend. The students come from all over Barshi. Some walk and some come on cycles, which they park out front. It’s a bit cramped when everyone shows up at once, but we make it work by moving the benches around. We don't use any high-tech gadgets, just a blackboard and some chalk. It’s the way we’ve always done it. Sometimes it’s tiring, especially in the summer when it’s dusty, but we like seeing the students learn something new. We just keep things practical and honest. There’s no need for anything extra when the main thing is just teaching. We’re just local people helping out other local people.
