Mjs College is located right on the Daund Jamkhed Road in Shrigonda. If you’re driving through Ahmednagar district, you’ll likely pass us on the way. It’s a dry area, especially in the summer, and the college building stands out against the flat landscape. We have a lot of students who come in from the nearby villages and farms. They usually arrive by bus or on motorbikes, so the parking area gets pretty crowded in the mornings. The college isn't a luxury place; it’s built for work. We have different departments, but everything is kept very simple. The hallways are concrete and the classrooms have sturdy benches that have been there for years. There’s a lot of dust because of the road nearby, so we are always sweeping. We don't have a big canteen, just a small spot where students can grab a tea or a quick snack between their lectures. The staff stays busy with the paperwork and keeping track of everyone. It’s a place where young people from the rural parts of Shrigonda can come to get their degrees without having to move all the way to a big city like Pune. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the exams are handled properly. It’s a straightforward institution for people who want to study and move forward with their lives. The gate stays open until the late afternoon when the last bus leaves.
