Ultratech Cement Ltd.

Working at Ultratech Cement Ltd means spending a lot of time over at the Aditya Birla Group Headquarters. We are specifically on the 3rd floor of the Aditya Birla Centre on S K Ahire Marg. It is a big building and sometimes it feels like a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. I’ve been coming here for a while now and I still take the wrong turn at the elevators occasionally. The office is always buzzing with people talking and phones ringing constantly. Since we are on the third floor we get a bit of a view but mostly we are just focused on the piles of documents on our desks. It is a professional environment but we still have our jokes and coffee breaks to get through the afternoon slump. Being located on S K Ahire Marg makes it easy to find some food nearby during lunch though the traffic can be a nightmare around five o'clock. We deal with a lot of coordination between different departments which keeps us pretty busy from Monday to Friday. It isn't always glamorous work but it is steady and there is always something that needs to be filed or sent out. You meet a lot of different people in the hallways here from all sorts of backgrounds. We just try to keep our part of the floor running without too many hiccups.
