We are located in the Jule Solapur district. It’s a busy area and we’ve been here for a long time now. Working with cement is what we do every day. It’s not the cleanest job, but it’s steady. Our place is pretty basic. We have the warehouse and some space for the trucks to turn around. Solapur gets really hot, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the morning. People know us as the Chettinad Cement spot around here. We don't really have any fancy brochures or salesmen. Most of our work comes from people who just know where we are. We deal with builders and people just fixing up their own houses. It’s a lot of loading and unloading. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but you get used to it after a while. The guys who work here are local. We all just want to get the job done and head home. There isn't much to say about us besides that. We aren't some big city office with glass walls. It’s just a yard with some bags and some trucks. If you need cement, you come here. That’s how it works. We’ve seen the district change quite a bit over the years. More houses, more roads. It means more work for us, which is good I guess. We stay open until the sun goes down.
