Sri Venkateshwara Cement Prodcut

We are based out in Solapur, Maharashtra, right in the 413003 zip code area. Sri Venkateshwara Cement Product is mostly an outdoor operation because of the nature of what we do. There is always a lot of grey dust flying around from the cement bags and the sand piles. We have a few heavy machines for mixing and molding, and they make a lot of noise when they are running full tilt. The yard is usually filled with rows of finished blocks or pipes drying out in the sun. It gets incredibly hot here in Maharashtra, so we try to get most of the heavy pouring done early in the morning before the sun really starts beating down on the concrete. The workers have been with us for a long time and they know the rhythm of the place. We don't have a polished office or any of that corporate stuff. Our "office" is just a small room with a fan and a stack of ledgers where we keep track of which truck took what. Sometimes the delivery schedules get messed up because of the rain or a broken axle, but we just deal with it as it happens. People from all over the local area come by to pick up what they need for their building projects. It’s messy work and we are usually covered in grit by five o'clock. We just stay focused on making sure the batches come out solid and the yard stays organized.
