Saraswati Acedamy

Saraswati Acedamy is located at 1302 Bhadhawati Peth, right along Akkalkot Road. It’s a busy road with a lot of trucks and buses passing by. The building is an older one, but it’s sturdy. We’ve been here in Solapur 413001 for several years now. Inside, it’s much quieter than the street. We have several rows of benches and a big blackboard. There aren't any fancy screens or tablets here. We just have the kids write everything down in their notebooks. The students come in, take their seats, and we start with the day's lessons. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans on high. Sometimes we have to shout a bit over the traffic noise, but we manage. We don't have a lot of staff. Usually, it's just us handling everything from the teaching to the cleaning. We know the names of all the kids who come here. Many of them live in the houses tucked behind Akkalkot Road. We don't do much promotion. Usually, a parent tells another parent, and that’s how we get new students. It’s a very local way of doing things. We stay open pretty late, especially when exams are near. The floor is concrete and the walls are plain. We just focus on the books and making sure the work gets done correctly. It's just a simple place for studying. The neighborhood is used to seeing kids walking to our door every day.
