Our shop is tucked away behind Laxmi Narayan Talkies on Navin Gharkul Road. It’s not a big place, just a small corner in the Laxmi Vishnu Chawl area. If you live around here in Solapur, you probably know where it is. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. People come here because we are local and we know how they like their hair cut. It’s a basic setup. We have the usual chairs and a few mirrors. Nothing fancy. Sometimes the road outside gets dusty, but we try to keep the inside tidy. Just a couple of fans and some good conversation. You can hear the sounds from the talkies sometimes when a movie is playing. Most days it’s just the regulars coming in for their monthly trim or a shave. We don't rush. We take our time with every person who sits in the chair. It’s a quiet life here in the chawl.
