Samarth Hair Style is located on Mangalwadi Road in Solapur. There isn't much to say about the building, it's just a simple spot on the road. Solapur is a dusty place sometimes, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass and the counters. We've been here for a good amount of time and the locals know the shop well. It's not a large area, just enough for the chairs and a small bench for people to sit on while they wait their turn. We don't have a big staff or anything like that. Usually, it's just the sound of the scissors and the fan humming above. The door stays open most of the day so people can see we are open and ready. Sometimes a stray dog will sit outside in the shade of our doorway. We don't do anything fancy, just the basic hair work that people need. The street outside can get quite busy with scooters and people going about their business. We see the same faces every few weeks when they need a trim. It's a steady life and we like the routine. We don't bother with fancy decorations or expensive lights that some other places use. The yellow paint on the walls is getting a bit old, but it gives the place a familiar feel for everyone. People come in, get what they need, and head back out to Mangalwadi Road. That's how it is at Samarth Hair Style every day.
