Shrikant Hair Style

Our shop, Shrikant Hair Style, is located in the Karamba area of Solapur. You can find us right at Shivaji Chawk, which is the main spot where everyone meets up. Solapur can get very hot, so the shop is a place where people can come in and sit under the fan for a bit while they wait for their turn. We don’t have a big team, just enough of us to handle the people who come in from the village and nearby farms. We do standard haircuts, beard trims, and sometimes a head massage if someone is feeling tired. The equipment is very basic, just scissors, manual clippers, and some spray bottles. We have been at Shivaji Chawk for many years, so the older generation knows us well. We’ve seen kids grow up and start bringing their own children here. The shop is small, with blue walls and a few pictures of different hair styles hanging up, though most people just ask for the same regular cut every time. We keep a bucket of water and some clean towels ready. There is no fancy waiting room, just a wooden bench outside and one inside. We talk about the crops, the weather, and whatever else is happening in Karamba. It’s a quiet life, and we like it that way. We just keep doing our work every day without much fuss.
