I've been here for a while now. The shop is right on Bharatratna Indira Gandhi Nagar. It’s a busy spot in Solapur. Most days, I open up early because the morning air is cooler. People walking by to work usually peek in. My chairs are old but they are comfortable enough for a quick trim. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, but nobody really minds when they want a shave. Solapur gets quite dusty, so I spend a lot of time wiping the mirrors down. I don't have a big team, it's just me and a couple of chairs. We do basic cuts and shaves. It's not a fancy place with music or anything. Just a normal shop. If you’re coming down 70Feet Road, you’ll see the sign. I try to keep the floor swept, though hair gets everywhere fast. Most of my regulars live right here in Indira Nagar. They come in and talk about the news or the cricket scores. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. I don't think much about big business things. I just focus on the next person sitting in the chair. Sometimes we run out of tea and I have to send someone to the corner shop. That’s just how it goes here. It can get a bit loud when the traffic picks up outside, but we just talk louder. It is what it is.
