Phadtare Engineering Works

Phadtare Engineering Works is based out of Phadtare Vaspi. We are right by the post office in Walchand Nagar. It’s a place where everyone knows everyone else. The workshop has been here for a long time. It’s full of metal scraps, heavy tools, and the smell of oil. That’s just the way an engineering shop should be, I think. We don't have a fancy office with leather chairs. We have wooden stools and a metal desk that’s seen better days. Walchand Nagar is a quiet town, and we fit right in. Most of the work we do comes from people in the surrounding villages. They bring in things that need fixing or parts that need to be made. We spend a lot of time hunched over machines. Sometimes the grease gets everywhere, but that’s part of the job. Phadtare Engineering Works isn't a big factory. It’s a local workshop where we take things one day at a time. The post office next door is a good landmark for people finding us for the first time. We try to be fair and just get the work done without too much fuss. There’s no big philosophy behind it. We just like fixing things and making sure they work right. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the sound of a lathe or a drill running. That’s just us doing what we’ve always done for the community here.
