My office is actually right near the Shani Mandir at D-34B in the Railway Quarters here in Solapur. It's a simple setup because I spend most of my time out where the work is happening. As a Junior Engineer, my days are filled with looking at tracks, buildings, or whatever else needs my attention around the railway area. It's a specific kind of job and being stationed at the quarters makes it easy to get to the site quickly. The Shani Mandir is a good landmark if you're trying to find where I am based. I don't go in for fancy offices or expensive furniture. A desk and a few tools are mostly all I need when I'm not on-site. Solapur can get quite hot, so the work can be physically demanding at times, but I'm used to it by now. I handle the technical side of things without much fuss. If there’s a problem with a structure or some equipment, I just look at it and try to find a practical solution that doesn't cost more than it should. People around the railway quarters know me, and I like keeping things on a first-name basis. There’s no corporate hierarchy to navigate here. It's just about getting the repairs or the new builds done so the trains and everything else can keep moving along like they are supposed to. I just take it one day at a time.
