Lonwadi Agro Shetkari Producer Company Limited is based out of Lonwadi, right at Dattu Sonaji Sultane’s spot. If you know the area, it’s not hard to find us. We are just a group of local people trying to handle the farming business a bit better. Around here, agriculture is pretty much all we know. We spend most of our time worrying about the rains and the price of fertilizer. The company was put together so we could work as a group instead of everyone just struggling on their own. It’s nothing too complicated. We mostly focus on what the farmers in Lonwadi need day to day. Sometimes that’s getting better seeds and other times it’s just finding a way to move the produce. There isn't much of a formal staff here. It’s mostly just us neighbors coming together when there is work to be done. We keep the paperwork at Dattu’s place and try to stay on top of things as much as we can between the morning chores and the evening harvest. It gets busy during the peak season, and you’ll usually find someone drinking tea and talking about the crop yields. We don't use any big words or fancy strategies. It’s just practical work that needs doing so the village can keep going. We've lived here all our lives, so we know the land and what it can do if you treat it right.
