Ark Shetkari Agrotech Industries Private Limited

Our business is called Ark Shetkari Agrotech Industries Private Limited and we are located out at Post Surdital in the Mada Surdi area of Solapur. It is a bit of a drive out here, but we like being close to the actual farms. Our address is right in the village area, so we are surrounded by fields and the people who work them. We focus on agrotech industries, which basically means we look at machines and better ways to handle the crops around Solapur. The building we work out of is pretty basic, just some walls and a roof to keep the sun off while we work on the equipment or talk to the local farmers. It is a very practical life out here. We don't have fancy coffee machines or carpets. We have tools and a lot of grit. People come by on their tractors or motorcycles to see what we are working on. We try to be helpful and keep things simple. Sometimes the monsoon makes the roads a bit difficult, but we still manage to get the work done. Most of us here have farming in our blood, so we understand the struggles that come with the weather and the markets. We just want to provide some decent tech to make the hard work a little easier for everyone in the village. It is a quiet existence but it feels right for us.
