Kesharmati Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are based in Solapur North, over at the Sahyadri Co-Op Housing Society on Hotagi Road. It’s a bit of a different setup than some other farm companies, but we are all farmers at heart. We came together to form Kesharmati Agro because we saw how much we were losing by working solo. Solapur can be a tough place for farming because of the heat, so we have to be smart about what we grow and how we use our water. We use the office on Hotagi Road to coordinate everything. It’s where we plan our schedules and figure out where to sell our crops. We don’t have a lot of employees; it’s mostly just us doing the work. We talk about seeds, fertilizers, and the latest news from the market. We’re not polished businessmen. We still have mud on our boots most of the time. We just want a better life for the people in our group. We try to find the best way to get our produce to the market without losing too much value. It’s a lot of trial and error. Some things work, some don’t. We learn as we go. It’s about keeping the tradition of farming alive while using a company structure to keep things organized. We’re just practical people trying to make it work. We don't have a fancy store, just our collective effort to make sure the farming life stays sustainable for our families.
