Holocene Agro Producer Company Limited is based out of the Shardhadevi Shopping Centre in Vairag. We are on the first floor, located at Gat Number 16, 17, 18, and 19. Vairag is a decent-sized town in the Barsi taluka of Solapur, and having an office in a shopping center makes it easy for farmers to stop by when they come into town for their errands. The stairs up to the first floor can be a bit of a climb on a hot day, but it’s a good spot for us. We started this company because we saw that farmers in the Solapur area could do more if they worked as a unit. Our office isn't anything special to look at—just some chairs, a couple of tables, and plenty of paperwork. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather keep the costs down for everyone involved. Most of the time, the office is a place for locals to come and chat about the upcoming season or to get help with their documents. We know the struggles of farming in this part of the state, especially with the water situation being so unpredictable. We just try to be a reliable place where people from Vairag and the surrounding villages can come for support. It’s a practical, local operation run by people who actually live here and understand the work. We aren't flashy, just here to get the job done for our members.
