Bhairavnath Hair Cutting

Our little place is situated at Saiful Chowk, right in the middle of the Sant Tukaram Nagar area of Solapur City. If you know Solapur, you know how the sun can really beat down on you, so we keep the shop as cool as we can. It’s a straightforward hair cutting shop. We have a few chairs and big mirrors that have seen better days, but they do the job just fine. Most of the people living around Sant Tukaram Nagar know us by name now. It’s the kind of place where you don’t need an appointment, you just show up and wait your turn on the wooden bench by the door. We do a lot of kids' haircuts, which can be a bit of a struggle when they won't sit still, but we manage. The men usually want a quick trim or a clean shave before they head off to their jobs. We don't use any of those expensive products you see in advertisements, just the usual stuff that works. It’s a bit dusty outside because of the road, so we are always cleaning the floor. Life in Solapur moves at its own pace, and we just follow along with it. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just a reliable one where you get what you pay for. It’s quiet in the afternoons when the heat is at its worst, then picks up again in the evening when people finish work.
