Agrocean Private Limited

Agrocean Private Limited is out on Barshi Road, at 131832 Swarajya Nagar. It’s a bit of a trek from the main part of town, which is good because we have more room out here. The road is always busy with trucks and tractors, which makes sense given what we do. Our building is a simple one-story structure that we’ve modified over time. It’s got a big yard in the front where we sometimes park the vehicles. Swarajya Nagar is a growing area, so there’s always some construction going on nearby. We started Agrocean because we wanted to bridge the gap between the farmers on the outskirts and the markets in the city. It’s not a glamorous job. Most days involve checking the quality of the arrivals or arguing over transport costs. We have a small team, just a few of us who have known each other for years. We don’t have a big handbook of rules. We just show up and do what needs to be done that day. The office gets quite hot in the summer because the roof is thin, so we spend a lot of time outside in the shade of the trees when we can. It’s a practical setup for a practical business. No one here is looking for a promotion or a fancy title. We just want to see the produce move and keep the lights on. It’s a straightforward life on Barshi Road.
