If you find yourself in Solan and head over to the Gadyana Kanda area, you’ll find us on the third floor of the B-13 building. It’s quite a climb up those stairs every morning, but the view is alright once you get there. We are a small tech outfit working out of this space. It’s not a shiny glass office like you see in the movies, just a practical room where we get our work done. We handle various technology tasks, mostly sitting at our desks and figuring things out. Solan is a good place for this because it’s not as crowded as some other towns. We started Susbs Technologies because we wanted to stay in Himachal and still do the kind of work we like. The 3rd-floor breeze helps on warmer days. We don't have fancy titles or a complicated hierarchy here. It’s more about who is free to take on the next job. We usually have a few projects going at once, and things can get a bit messy with cables and papers, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting and trying new things. It’s a simple setup, really. Just some local folks working hard to make a go of it in the tech world without leaving our home turf. Most evenings we just pack up and head down the stairs, ready to do it again tomorrow. It is a quiet existence but we are busy enough.
