Mahrajganj Farmers Producer Company Limited is located in the Siwan district. Our main office and work area are in the village and post office of Risaura. This falls under the Maharajganj police station area. We are very much a part of this rural landscape. Life here in Risaura is tied closely to the land and the seasons, which makes sense given that we are a farmers producer company. We don't have a fancy lobby or any corporate slogans on the walls. It is just a simple building where we gather to talk about seeds, harvests, and how to get things done for the local farmers. The roads leading to Risaura can be a bit bumpy depending on the time of year, but everyone around here is used to it. We spend our days dealing with the practical side of farming and helping our members navigate the business side of things. It is often a lot of talking and manual record-keeping. The village is quiet for the most part, except for the usual sounds of tractors and people working in the fields. We started this company because we wanted a way to organize things better for ourselves and our neighbors in Siwan. It is not about making a huge name for ourselves, but just about making sure the work gets done and the farmers have a place to come to in Maharajganj. We are just local people working for our own community here.
