It’s a quiet spot but there is always something going on with the farming. We are a group of local farmers who thought it was a good idea to join up. Dealing with crops and markets is a lot easier when you aren't doing it entirely by yourself. We aren't a big company with a lot of rules, we are just people who live in Deodih and work the land every day. Some days the heat is really something, and other days we are worried about the rain, but we get through it. We handle all the usual stuff like getting the fields ready, planting, and making sure everything grows right. It’s not always pretty work, and our hands are usually dirty, but it's what we know. We spend a lot of time talking to each other about what works and what doesn't. There’s a lot of history in this soil and we try to respect that. We don't have any big speeches or flashy advertisements. If you come by Deodih, you’ll see us out there doing what needs to be done. It’s about sticking together as a community and making sure our farming stays strong. Everyone here puts in the work because we all have a stake in how things turn out at the end of the harvest. It is just simple living.
