Our place is at Ram Narayan Yadav’s in Lakhaichak. We are the Birdpur Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited. It's located over in Dulha Janubi, Sheopati Nagar. Most days are pretty much the same here. Waking up early and getting to the fields is how things start. Then we spend some time at the office handling the collective stuff. Ram Narayan is usually around if anyone needs something. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just trying to keep the farming going for everyone involved. Lakhaichak is a quiet spot mostly. Occasionally we have meetings to talk about what to plant or how the last harvest went. It’s just us farmers. A big marketing team or anyone writing fancy speeches isn't something we need. Simple talk about tools, dirt, and water is enough. Birdpur is where we belong. Being a producer company means a lot of forms and staying in line with rules, which can be a bit of a headache sometimes. But we manage. Sheopati Nagar has its own rhythm and we just fit into that. If you come by, you'll see a small room with some chairs and a desk. That’s where the business happens. There isn't much to say other than we’re here doing the work every day. Local and plain is how we like it. We share the equipment when someone’s tractor breaks down. It's not a corporation in the city sense, just neighbors in Lakhaichak helping neighbors and getting the crops to market.
