We are over here at Manikpurtola, which is a part of Manikpur village in the Harsidhi block. Babudham Garlic Farmers Producer Company Limited is basically just us locals working together. Most of our work happens at Dinanath Prasad’s place. It’s a quiet area but we stay busy with the garlic crops. People in the village know us by name because we’ve been here forever. We don't have a big office building or anything fancy like that. It's just a regular spot where we handle the business. Garlic is what we know. The sun gets hot in Harsidhi during the afternoons so we start early. Sometimes the roads aren't the best but we make it work. It feels good to have a company that belongs to the farmers here. We talk about the weather and the seeds every day. Dinanath is usually around if someone needs to talk. We just want to keep things going for our families and the village. There isn't much to say other than we are just a group of people from Manikpurtola trying to do something together. It is a simple life and we like it. We focus on what grows in our soil. Garlic has been part of our lives for a long time now. If you come by the block, you will see how we operate. It's just honest work under the sky. We are proud to be from this part of the world. It’s our home and our livelihood combined.
