We have our spot in the Dhanlaxmi Market, specifically units 14 to 16, in the middle of Sadar Bazar. It is a busy area where space is hard to find, so we use every inch of our three units. We mostly deal with televisions and various household electronics. You will see boxes stacked up high near the entrance because we get new stock in every week. It is not a fancy showroom with carpets and soft lights. We keep things practical so we can offer decent prices to the people who live around here. We spend our day talking to customers about which fridge or TV might suit their house best. Most people who come in are looking for something that won't break after a few months. We are honest about what we sell. If a certain brand has been having trouble, we tell them. Being in Sadar Bazar means it is always loud outside, but we don't mind the bustle of the market. We have a couple of guys who help us move the heavy boxes and handle the deliveries. Sometimes the power goes out in the whole market and we just sit outside on the steps and chat with the neighbors until it comes back on. It is a steady way to make a living and we have built a lot of friendships over the years. We just stay here and do our work.
