Advance Steel

Advance Steel is located at 18, Raghuvanshi Complex, right across from Ajit Paper. Being in a complex like this means there is always a lot of movement. Trucks are coming in and out, and there’s the sound of metal moving around all day long. We deal with steel, so it’s heavy work and our clothes usually end up looking pretty rough by the end of the shift. The office is small and usually has a bit of grime on the desks, but that's what happens in this industry. We don't put on any airs here. If you come by, you’ll see us in the middle of it all, probably moving some inventory or checking a delivery list. The heat can get pretty bad in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We aren't a corporate giant with a thousand employees. We’re just a local group trying to get the orders out on time. Sometimes things get delayed or a shipment shows up late, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and the neighbors at Ajit Paper are used to our noise. It’s a practical business for people who need things done without any fuss or fancy talk. We don't have a sales team calling people up; we just wait for the phone to ring or for someone to walk in the door.
