You can find us at Gala No. 03, Survey No. 45. We are inside the Pali Industrial Estate in Dadra. It’s a big area with lots of units, so sometimes people get lost looking for the right gala. We’ve been operating Gaurav Pratik Industries from here for a good amount of time. The space is mostly taken up by the equipment and raw materials. It’s an industrial unit, so it’s not meant to look pretty. There’s grease on the floors sometimes and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. But we are here to work, not for looks. We make different parts and items as per what’s needed. The noise from the neighboring units is constant. We’ve got a small crew of workers who know exactly what they’re doing. We usually start early before the sun gets too hot. Dadra is a busy place for manufacturing. There’s always trucks coming in and out of the estate. We handle our own loading most of the time. It’s physical work and at the end of the day, everyone is tired. We don’t have a big mission statement. We just get the orders done and send them out. It’s been our way of life for years and we’re quite used to the grind now. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon and talk about how the week is going. It's just simple hard work.
