City Marble & Tiles

If you head down Sevoke Road toward the 2nd Mile, that's where City Marble & Tiles is located. We are pretty close to the Power House, which makes us easy to find if you know the landmark. It’s a busy stretch of road and we’ve been here for a good amount of time. We sell marble and different kinds of tiles for floors and walls. It’s not a complicated business. People come by when they are renovating their kitchens or bathrooms. We spend most of our mornings unloading trucks and checking the inventory. The dust gets everywhere, but that’s just how it is with stone. We have a variety of patterns and colors sitting around. Some days are quieter than others, giving us time to organize the tiles and clean up the shop floor. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us here, showing people what we have in the warehouse. Sometimes the weather on Sevoke Road gets a bit rough, especially during the rains, but we keep the gates open. Local builders often stop by to see what new stock arrived lately. We try to be helpful without being pushy. If you need a few boxes of tiles or a slab for a counter, we usually have something that works for your project. It’s a practical shop. We don’t do fancy displays, just stacks of tiles and stone that are ready to go whenever you are.
