We are over in Dumeria Ganj, specifically in Ward Number 5 in Siddharthnagar. This is where we run Aishvary Agrahari Masale & Foods Private Limited. It is a small operation where we focus on spices and other food items that people use in their kitchens every day. The smell around our place is usually pretty strong because of all the grinding and mixing we do. We don't have a giant factory with robots; it is mostly people doing the work by hand or with simple machines. We try to get the best ingredients we can from the local markets and then we process them. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing them, which is frustrating but just part of the life. We aren't trying to be some massive international brand. We just want to make sure the families around here have good spices for their cooking. Our packaging is simple and we don't spend money on big ads. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or see us at the local shops. It is a lot of dusty work, and our clothes usually smell like turmeric or chili by the end of the shift. We stay busy through the seasons, making sure we have enough stock for when the festivals come around and everyone is cooking big meals. It is a simple business, but it keeps us busy and the community well fed.
