Xtend Technologies

We’ve been running things here at Xtend Technologies on A.T. Road for a good while now. If you know Morankhat, you know how the traffic gets right outside our door. It’s a bit noisy most mornings, but you get used to it after a few weeks. Inside, it’s mostly just us surrounded by stacks of motherboards, old monitors, and a whole lot of tangled cables that I keep meaning to organize properly. We do a bit of everything when it comes to the tech side of things. People bring in laptops that won’t start or ask us to help set up their home internet when it’s acting up. It isn't some high-end showroom. There are usually a couple of half-finished projects sitting on the main workbench and the smell of solder in the air. We don’t have a big team or fancy uniforms. It’s just us doing the work that needs doing. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon gets a bit much, so we keep the fan running full blast, which makes a clicking sound that nobody bothers to fix. We know most of the people who stop by by their first names. It’s a practical way to spend the day, really. We just try to make sure things are working right before they leave the shop. There is always someone coming in with a cracked screen or a slow computer, so there is never really a quiet moment. It is just life on A.T. Road.
