M R D Enterprise

Being out in Village Thawada Bahundari, things are a lot quieter than in the main town of Sibsagar. M R D Enterprise is located in Ward No.6, and we are right near the Shiv Mandir, which is how most people find us if they are not from around here. You can hear the temple bells in the morning and evening, which is a nice way to start and end the day. The post office in Rajmai is a bit of a walk, but we go there often enough. Life in Tehsil Bemow is pretty straightforward. We spend a lot of time sitting on the porch area when there aren't many people around, just watching the birds or the cows passing by. The shop itself is simple, with wooden counters that have seen a lot of use over the years. Inside, it’s a bit dark because we don't use too many bright bulbs, just enough to see what we are doing. We get a lot of people stopping by after they visit the mandir, mostly just to say hello or pick up something they forgot they needed. The district of Sibsagar is beautiful, and being tucked away in this village feels right for us. We keep a ledger for everything, written by hand, and sometimes the ink smudges if the air is too humid. It’s a slow, steady kind of life at M R D Enterprise, and we like it that way. No one is ever in a massive rush.
