Peroth Farmer Producer Company Limited

This company is based out in Peeroth Khatora, which is part of the Badharwash block in Shivpuri. It’s a very rural area, which is exactly where a farmer producer company should be. We are right there in the middle of the fields. Most of us here are locals who grew up in this part of Madhya Pradesh. We know the soil and we know how hard the sun can hit during the peak of summer. The office isn't much more than a room with some chairs and a table where we keep our registers. We don't have high-speed internet most of the time, so we do things the old-fashioned way. People walk in with their concerns about seeds or the price of what they've grown. We listen and try to help where we can. It’s not a fancy life. We wear our work clothes and usually have a bit of mud on our boots. Shivpuri is a beautiful place, but the work is tough. We spend our days talking to the farmers in the village. There’s a lot of trust involved in what we do. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy reports. We just report back to the members what happened with the sales. It’s a community effort more than a business. We all want the same thing, which is just to make a living from the land.
