Own Enterprise

You can find Own Enterprise at 45-77 on Gopala Main Road in Shivamogga. We are right on the main stretch, so there is always a lot of activity outside our front door. The road is busy with people going to work, school, or the market. Our shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have inside. We have shelves lined with various items, and sometimes it gets a bit cluttered because we try to keep everything on hand for our customers. It’s just a small team of us here. We start the day by sweeping the front step and getting things ready for whoever might stop by. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It’s just a regular local business where we handle things as they come. Sometimes we are very busy and other times we just sit and wait for the next person to walk in. We’ve been on Gopala Main Road for a few years now and have gotten to know the rhythm of the street. The afternoon sun hits the front window pretty hard, so we usually pull the shade down a bit to stay cool. We don't use any complicated systems; we just keep track of what we sell and what we need to order from our suppliers. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we like being part of the Shivamogga community.
