Logipro Softwares is based in Shimoga, which is a nice change of pace if you are used to the bigger, more crowded cities in Karnataka. We are located at Df 29/A in the New Colony area. This part of Shimoga is fairly quiet, which is great for the kind of software work we do. You need a bit of peace and quiet to think through code and solve problems without being bothered. The building is a regular structure on a residential-looking street. It doesn’t look like a big tech hub from the outside, but inside we have all the equipment we need to get our projects finished on time. We’ve been here in New Colony for some time now. People in the neighborhood mostly know us as the software folks who stay late. Shimoga has its own charm, and being in the 577301 zip code means we are well-connected to the rest of the town. We don’t really go in for big marketing or flashy signs on the wall. We just have our name on the door and we get to work every morning. Sometimes the internet acts up or it gets a bit dusty when the wind blows through the colony streets, but that’s just part of life here. We like the local feel of the place. It’s a small team and we know each other well. We just take things one day at a time, working on our projects in our corner of India.
