Sv Caterers

We run our catering business from a small space in Sikh Village, right opposite the Sujatha Medical Store. Our address is in the 500009 area. It is mostly a family operation. We have a large kitchen area where we do all the prep work for the orders we get. We don't have a storefront where you can come and eat. Instead, we cook for events like weddings, small house parties, or local gatherings. The kitchen is always full of big aluminum pots and large sacks of rice and spices. It is a messy business sometimes, especially when we are preparing food for hundreds of people at once. We have an old white van that we use to transport the food containers to the venues. Sometimes the traffic in this part of town makes us worry about being on time, but we usually manage. We don't have a fancy office or a marketing team. Most people just call us because they ate our food at someone else's party. We write down all our bookings in a thick diary that stays on the main table. The kitchen gets very hot and humid, and there is always the smell of onions and masalas in the air. We hire extra help from the neighborhood when we have a big contract. It is a lot of hard work and long hours standing up, but it is what we do.
