Host Multi Cuisine Restaurant

We started this place at Diamond Point in Sikh Village a while back because we wanted to serve a bit of everything under one roof. It’s a busy corner of the city and we get a lot of regular faces coming in from the neighborhood. Some days are really loud and others are quiet, but that’s just how it goes here. We don't really do anything fancy with the decor, just enough tables and chairs for people to sit down and have a meal. The kitchen stays pretty active throughout the day. It’s mostly just us trying to keep things moving. We didn't plan for it to be anything big, it just happened. My cousin helps out with the supplies and the staff stays on their toes. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard for people to park, but they still show up anyway. We make sure the floor is swept and the water is cold. It isn't like those big chain restaurants you see in the malls. It’s just a normal spot for food. We get all sorts of people, families mostly, and some college kids too. Usually, the afternoons are the busiest time for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work. If a lightbulb goes out, we fix it when we get a minute. It’s a simple life running a restaurant in this part of town. We are just glad to be here at Diamond Point and keep things going.
