Anu North Indian Tiffin Service

We started Anu North Indian Tiffin Service right here in Chandanaga because we realized people needed a proper meal during the day. It’s basically a home kitchen where we cook up dal, rotis, and vegetables every morning. The whole place smells like spices and fresh bread from early on. We don't have a big restaurant or a dining hall. It’s just us packing up tiffin boxes and getting them ready for delivery or pickup. We keep things very simple with the menu, mostly sticking to what we know how to cook well. The kitchen can get pretty hot and crowded when we are rushing to get the boxes out on time. We use regular steel tiffins and plastic containers depending on what people want. Chandanaga is where we live and work, so we know the local streets well. It isn't a fancy corporate food business. It’s just a few people cooking like they do at home. We have a small list of regulars who get their lunch from us every single day. Sometimes we run out of food if we don't plan right, but we try to get it mostly correct. There are no uniforms or big signs, just a lot of cooking and cleaning. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but it’s what we do here in our kitchen. We try to keep it tasting like real home food.
