Nihal Agro Tourism Private Limited

Things are pretty quiet up here in Vanavadi Solas, which is exactly why we started Nihal Agro Tourism. We are located in the Jawali area of Satara, not too far from Mahabaleshwar. Most people know this part of Maharashtra for the hills and the greenery, and we have plenty of that. We decided to open up our space so people could see what a real farm looks like without all the city noise. It’s mostly family running the place. We have some crops growing, and we let guests walk around and see how things are done. Sometimes the weather gets really misty, and you can barely see the next field over, but that’s the charm of being up in the mountains. We don’t have a lot of fancy signs or a big reception desk. Usually, someone is just out in the back or near the kitchen when you arrive. It’s a lot of work keeping the place tidy for guests while also doing the actual farming. We serve local food that we mostly grow ourselves. It’s not a five-star hotel, just a place to sit on the porch and breathe some fresh air. People come from Satara or even further away just to spend a day or two. We like showing them the trees and the dirt. It’s honest work and we enjoy meeting everyone who stops by our little corner of Satara to see the farm.
