If you ever find yourself in Kolaki, which is in the Phaltan Taluka of Satara, you might run into us. We operate out of Dadasaheb Laxman Bhosale’s place. Being an organic agro producer company means we are pretty much always tied to the soil and what’s growing in it. We started this because we saw a need for farmers in the Phaltan area to work together on organic stuff. It’s a lot of work to keep things truly organic, and there’s always something new to learn about the soil or the pests. We don't have a fancy storefront or anything, just our base in Kolaki where we meet and plan things out. Most of us are local people who grew up around here, so we know the land pretty well. Sometimes the paperwork for the company gets a bit overwhelming, but we manage. We aren't doing this to get rich quick; it’s more about making sure the farming around Satara stays healthy for the next generation. We spend our time visiting different plots and checking on how the crops are doing. It can get dusty and hot out there, but that’s just part of the job. We share advice, help each other out with supplies, and try to get our produce to the right people. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours. We’re just a group of people from the village trying to make organic farming work for everyone involved.
