Luxmi Seeds (India) Private Limited has been at 194 Jawahar Market for quite a while. It’s a traditional market area, so it’s always crowded and full of life. Our shop is just one of many, but we’ve got our regular people who know where to find us. The space is a bit cramped because we try to keep as much stock as possible on hand. You’ll see bags of seeds piled up near the back. We don't have air conditioning that works all that well, so in the summer, we keep the fans going full blast. It’s a simple setup. A couple of desks, some chairs for visitors, and plenty of shelves. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with fancy titles. Everyone just helps out with whatever needs doing, whether it's loading a vehicle or writing out an invoice by hand. Jawahar Market is a good place to be if you want to stay connected to what people are actually planting. We hear all the gossip about the weather and the crop prices from the other shopkeepers. It's a loud place, but we like the energy. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the people who come to 194 get exactly what they asked for. It’s basic, honest work that we take pride in. We’ve been here long enough that the walls could probably tell a few stories. We just keep at it.
