Surajsutar

My name is Surajsutar and I’m based out of Vita in the Sangli district. This isn't a big city with skyscrapers and bright lights, but it’s where I’ve lived and worked for most of my life. Around here, people know each other by name, so my business is just my name, Suraj Sutar. I don't see any reason to call it something complicated. We operate in a very simple way. Every morning, I open up and get started on whatever projects are currently on the table. It’s mostly just me doing the heavy lifting, though I get help when it’s needed. The pace here in Vita is a bit different than what you’d find in Mumbai or Pune. It’s more about the local community and helping out your neighbors. We don’t have a big office or a bunch of fancy marketing materials. To be honest, I wouldn't even know what to do with all that. I just focus on the practical side of things. If a job needs doing, I do it. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit difficult, or there’s a delay with getting supplies from further away, but we always find a way to get through it. It’s an honest living and it keeps me busy. I don't have any big corporate goals or missions. I just want to keep working and providing for my family while being a useful part of the town. That’s how it’s been for years.
