Our small office is located in Jath, which is in the Sangli district of Maharashtra. We are quite easy to find because we are right near Hirve Press, a place everyone around here recognizes. Being in a smaller town like Jath is different from the big city life in Pune or Mumbai, but we like it this way. The pace is a bit slower and we know most of the neighbors on our street. We show up in the morning, open the doors, and get started on whatever is on the list for that day. It gets dusty sometimes when the wind blows through the open windows, so we spend a fair bit of time cleaning our desks. There is a local tea stall just a short walk away where we go when we need a break from the screens. We do not have any big signs or flashy lights outside. It is just a simple room with computers and some chairs where we sit and work. The pin code is 416404 if anyone is trying to send us mail, though the postman usually knows where we are anyway. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, so we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It is a practical way of working, without any of that corporate stuff you see in movies. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay busy throughout the week.
